Walk up to Nordhoff (along Noble) and take the #166 or #364 going east (toward the Freeway). Get off at Laurel Canyon, and take the #230 south. Ask the driver to let you off at Sheldon and you will be there. Have a buck and a quarter for each bus.

well too bad you dont give a starting point (like a intersection) so I will have to assume on or near Sepulveda Blvd first you will take the sepulveda bus to Ventura and Sepulveda then change to Metro 761 then take that bus to Wilshire and Westwood then change again the 720 into Santa Monica cost is $1.25 per bus boarding for a total $3.75 each way note you can save money by using a day pass but first you have to go find a pass sales out that sells the tap card (in advance) which you can get for $2.00 once you have the tap card then you can load $5.00 day pass on the bus note there are no more paper day passes

I can't really say "good" or "no good". It's not that black and white. I'd say it's OK, giving it 6.5 out of 10. It's a decent working class area, but WoE doesn't like it because people with brown skin live there. Most of the people in the area take pride in their neighborhood. Sure, there's a little grafitti in some areas, but it's not too bad overall. Weather: It's 10 degrees hotter in summer, and about 10 degrees cooler in winter. It's the valley. Traffic: The 118, 101, and 405 are the main freeways in the area, and the 405 is the one most notorious for bad traffic. This is LA, and it's known for bad traffic. Hopefully, you have a job in the area so you won't have to commute far.
