I think that you are looking at the price to rent it (for a summer or a month or something), not the price to buy it (and keep it forever).

As the #1 promoter of all things LA here, I have to admit it's not worth the drive, if that's all you're driving up here for. Personally, I'll take the beaches in La Jolla. Sand is a lot smoother down there. Malibu is rather rocky, and when you get right down to it, a beach is a beach.

Well malibu is mainly a longbaorders break. Thats why longboards are sometimes called malibus and mini long boards are called mini mals. The waves there are not that big. Out of the few times I have gone, they were about 4-5 ft face. It is really fun, but also really crowded. You have to wait a while for your turn on weekends. Otherwise, it is a lot of fun.

You can go to any med school. In med school the second two years you rotate through all of the specialties. Then you complete a residency in either pediatrics or oncology then you do a fellowship in the other.

That's great- congrats! There are a few good places to ride in the Malibu area, the largest and best place was Calalmigos Ranch, but I believe they are closed now.
