Where is the good clean part of Culver City, Ca? Please provide street names or neighborhood suburb names.?

Culver City is about 5 miles from Venice Beach, and 7 miles from the Santa Monica Pier, which is considered very close for LA. CC is about about 10 miles from downtown LA, which is a 15 to 45 minute drive depending on traffic. Culver City is a nice small town community, it's only about 5 square miles. One good area to live in Culver City is right by Sony Studios. Off of Culver Bl there are streets with mostly small homes and a few apartment buildings. Those neighborhoods tend to be nice and quiet. The nearby very small town downtown area has nice little restaurants, a Trader Joes, a farmer's market, movie theaters, the Kirk Douglas Theatre, etc close by. The area was upgraded after Sony took over the studio. (Recently, Great Grandma lived here by herself until she was 93, walked around to do her shopping, never had a problem or felt unsafe.) Around Dr. Paul Carlson Park (home of the Culver City Popcorn Children's Theatre, free performances), Veterans Memorial Park, El Marino Park & Elementary, Lindberg Park, and the tiny Coombs Park there are cute neighborhoods of mostly houses. Much of Culver City is nice, with a very small town feel, there are some rougher neighborhoods, but they will be obvious to you when you look, mostly towards the west end of CC. Culver Crest is an area near El Rincon Elementary / Blanco Park and the Holy Cross Cemetery (really no creepy vibe) with some nice larger homes, mostly ranch, in a kind of hilly area. Near the Westfield Mall and Fox Hills Park there are large apartment / condo buildings. There is near Hillside cemetery, again, there isn't a creepy vibe. In Culver City there are 2 Targets, 2 Best Buys, 2 Rite Aids, etc. There is a Westfield Mall, super markets, and small international markets. The public Culver City Unified schools are good, better than many LAUSD. There quite a few nice parks for kids. How far is it from Laguna Niguel, CA to Culver City, CA?

Seeing as how Culver City is right by the 405, and has a carpool lane all the way down to Laguna, that's the way to go and especially if you have a friend with you. If you don't have a friend, it's actually about 20- 30 miles shorter if you go straight up the 5 and across the 10. The five is a much more direct route. If you look at a map, you'll see that the 405 curves it's way closer to the coast, whereas the 5 is a straight line. The LA County Line is right as you leave Seal Beach and enter Long Beach travelling north on the 405. If you're travelling up the 5, it's just past the 91 as you leave Buena Park and enter La Mirada at Artesia Blvd. Now, the city of LA is different from the county. If you mean Downtown LA, then Culver City is a little further than Downtown, especially factoring in that Downtown is served by the 5 freeway, whereas Culver City is off the 405. Basically, LA County is 72 suburbs in search of a home, and is about 4,000 square miles big. You can definitely expect traffic at the usual times that rush hour is, only add about 90 minutes to the start of it and the end of it. Anytime after 3:00pm or before 7:30 or 8:00pm can be busy, and if you get stuck by an accident or a road construction project that loses a lane for you, it can take 2 or 3 hours. Find a friend, and keep to the carpool lanes on the 405. Even if it's a longer trip, the carpool lane will be worth it in time saved. :D Best of luck !!

How far is Culver City, CA from Valley Village/Studio City, CA?

It's about 20 miles. That's a Rough Commute, in the Meat Of Traffic! One thing I have learned the hard way in LA County: Always live where you work~ & work were you live! Good Luck if you move!
